2013: Dairy cow housing complementing the dairy unit modernisation to meet welfare and milk buyer expectations – Four applications for new cubicle buildings together with integral feed passage and slurry storage submitted as a phased project. The existing building with 1970’s cubicle facilities will be updated for dry cows and in-calf heifers. All four applications APPROVED 2/4/2012

2009: Follow on application for proposed new silage clamp and calf rearing unit again on green-field site and successful. APPROVED

2007: Successful full application for manure store on green-field site as first step of long term strategy to form new and improved dairy unit. The manure store and replacement slurry store were successful in application to the NVZ grant scheme. APPROVED

This is a two generation farming operation and David treats us all with respect while thinking ahead for what will be the fourth generation on this farm.
