The unit includes features like under-floor heating, use of air-source heat pumps and computer management of heat, light, feeding and watering systems.

2010: A further four buildings approved to double the size of the unit on the farm. Plan going forward to generate as much power as possible on site and reduce energy bills see Wind Turbine case study below.

2007-2011: Four general purpose and livestock buildings submitted for the dairy enterprise.
In addition to the ranges of poultry buildings, one building approved in each year.
